Lisa Sars Gough has been working for me with the NYLON ZOO for ten years now.

She is a trained dancer and storyteller and she is a delightful young woman;

creative, playful and loves to work with children.

Lisa is one of three performers in a group combining storytelling with dance and music “Dixie Star”.

Lisa is also a teacher with Art Starts in the Classroom.

Lisa Sars Gough was at this lovely festival with the NYLON ZOO Salmon & costume parades. The zoo is owned and operated by Angela Brown – angelabrown.ca. This festival is sponsored by Pacific Salmon Foundation.  The salmon and most of the costumes, created by Evelyn Roth.. Photos by Sombilion

“Lisa was great – as always!  She is a wonderful person and asset to your business. As an event organizer, it is great to have someone like Lisa at your event because she is professional and knows what she is doing, making my job much easier!” Nicole Marzinzik, Park Interpreter – Kelowna Regional Parks Services

“The Nylon Zoo and Lisa’s storytelling were wonderful! All I heard were positive comments about the show and I know everyone that was simply attending the event enjoyed seeing the costume parade.  It really added some whimsy to the event!” Erin Desautels, Environmental Stewardship Coordinator, Urban Forestry & Environmental Program, Surrey Parks, Recreation & Culture

“The story times and costume parades were the highlight of the day. Lisa was wonderful to work with – very enthusiastic and positive. As well, our staff had a great time supporting her”.  Debbie Yeh Park Partner Assistant, Surrey B.C.

Thank you for attending the Golden Spike Festival in Port Moody. Lisa did such a wonderful job. I look forward to working with you both in the future”. Christina Martino Events Coordinator. Golden Spike Days Festival, Port Moody B.C.

A highlight at Mission Creek in Kelowna was a 10-meter-blow-up Salmon tent, designed by artist Evelyn Roth. Story-teller Lisa Sars told a salmon legend to children inside the tent, sang song and led kids dresses as animals in a costume parade. Lisa drove from Vancouver with her son and daughter to perform her show four times Sunday…”I really like storytelling. It’s hard to say no.  And my children love to come to festivals as well”.  Spawning Action for Kokanee Newspaper, Kelowna B.C
