Testimonials for Teaching and Directing

“I have had the privilege of seeing Angela perform as a dancer and comedienne to a very high standard. Her technique, interpretation and expression of early dances is superb, as is her rapport with the audience. More recently, I organized a  weekend workshop given by Angela in comic acting prior to rehearsing A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The workshop was well planned and presented, and many of the actors later commented that they found Angela to be an excellent and inspiring teacher with lots of practical ideas.” Brian Crumblehulme, MA, Director MILT

“Angela taught a workshop called “On the Spot Storytelling” to pre school/early education teachers in the use of skills in theatre, movement and puppets…”Angela is enthusiastic, committed and dedicated to her craft. We would highly recommend her for any group interested in learning additional skills to becoming effective storytellers to the young or the young at heart.” Kathy Gardner, Coordinator of Early Childhood Education, Burnaby College, B.C.

“Angela taught a course called French Made Fun using movement, theatre and mime as a basis to learn the language. She has taught this workshop at John Oliver high School in Vancouver B.C. under the supervision of French teacher. Grades eight and nine love her class, combining movement and learning French.” Ellen Stewart, John Oliver High, Vancouver B.C.

“Angela taught a movement and relaxation workshop to students of Pharmacy Practice Program at UBC. “The class which was offered immediately following your workshop, was a Role Play session during which the students practised counseling patients on medication issues. We noticed several of them using your techniques just before they took their turn and their performance was noticeable improved. Since they were more relaxed, they were able to focus on the information they were providing rather than their own nervousness. Once again, thank you. I can see this becoming a valuable contribution to our program.” Sandi Hutty, Pharmacy Practice Program, UBC
