NIGHT MAGIC
This interactive story was originally commissioned by
Metro Vancouver five years ago. It’s for a night- time event called
Meteor Watch which takes place in Aldergrove Regional Park B.C.
The play is perfect for night time event s and its his for the whole family. Some of the audience is invited inside a lite up dome, they each have a puppet on a stick to animate. The puppets shadows are reflected on the dome.
Angela wrote, directed and plays a lonely moth who can’t find any moth friends.
Victor Smith designed and play the music. His character is The Man of the Moon and Music who guides the moth towards an understanding that her friends were right in front of her the whole time.
The moth realizes that friends don’t have to look like her or act like her, it’s good to be different. What’s most important is that we love each other!!
