This Nylon Zoo event with The Ta Daa Lady (Angela Brown) is an interactive story nature: regeneration of nature, reforestation, restoration and the power of a seed. The story along with the song ‘In the Heart of a Seedling” explore the magic of nature. It begins with an interaction with the audience about what nature need to survive. Then the audience closes their eyes and visualizes a seed in the palm of their hand and how it is connected to the seed in our hearts. Ta Daa Lady asks them what kind of tree their seed will grow into. Next we mime burying it in the ground. Near the end of the story, we find a basket filled with cloth salmon, flowers, fruit, vegetables, small creatures like butterflies, bumblebees and squirrels. The children plant cloth cut outs (velcro) and stick them on the surface of the dome. The goal is to raise awareness and educate others about the importance of preserving and nurturing nature.
Angela joined us for our National Tree Day event on September 26, 2026, with her Rainbow Dome and Magic of a Seed presentation. Her program included a puppet show, costume parade, and storytelling session inside the dome. Participants thoroughly enjoyed every element of her performance, with children and their parents especially excited to dress up in costumes and take part in the parade. The storytelling session provided an opportunity for young participants to learn more about the importance of caring for and protecting our environment. Angela’s presentation connected well with the theme of our National Tree Day event, where participants came together to plant trees and celebrate the important role trees and nature play in our environment.
