Nylon Zoo Whale
This big, beautiful blue whale (orca) is the the largest mammal in the world. It was created by world-renowned artist Evelyn Roth. You can see it in photo below, photos from the Pacific Rim Whale Festival, in Tofino and Ucluelet B.C. The Ta Daa Lady presented stories in the whale
along with costume parades & dances.

The story is fun and highly interactive. It’s about a group of pirates (children( wassailing the sea, looking for somewhere to anchor their ship. They see what they think is an island but it is really the back of a Orca whale. The whale is in waiting for a school of fish to come swimming by so she can snatch them for herself and her baby
WHALE FOR WHISTLER STREET ENTERTAINMENT
One of the interactive stories is called ‘Whale of an Island’. It is about a group of pirates wassailing the sea looking for somewhere to anchor their ship. They see what they think is an island but it turns out it’s the back of a big, blue whale. The whale is staying very still on the surface of the water, waiting for a school of fish to come swimming into her mouth (as wide as a valley). That way, she can snatch up a tasty lunch for herself and her baby. Instant lunch!
